Do ready Shopify sections work with Dawn and other Online Store 2.0 themes?
Yes. NP SoftTech sections and blocks are built for Online Store 2.0. Dawn and other current Shopify themes that allow custom sections can use them in the theme editor.

How NP SoftTech approaches it
Confirm the theme is OS 2.0. Then add the file and insert the section or block on the template you care about, such as home or product.
Dawn and current themes
Dawn, Craft, Sense and Refresh are typical fits.
Shopify Plus
Plus still uses OS 2.0 templates for the storefront.
Vintage themes
Not supported. Upgrade the theme or ask for a custom build.
Hydrogen
Liquid sections do not run on Hydrogen. That needs a custom storefront build.
How compatibility works
The files use section and block schema. If Customize lets you add sections, you can add these files after they exist in the theme.
App-heavy product pages
A product-page app that replaces the template can hide theme blocks. Preview on a duplicate theme.
Markets and translation
Theme-editor text can be translated with Translate and Adapt. Markets still control currency and catalogue.

Vintage themes need a different approach. Do not force OS 2.0 files into them.
