How do I add Shopify trust badges without an app?

Install Trust badges and payment icons, add the block on the product or cart template, then turn on the icons and short trust lines you actually offer.

Are payment logos included?

The block supports a payment icon row you can turn on. Use only the methods you actually offer at checkout, including cards, UPI or wallets you enable in Shopify Payments or your gateway.

Where should trust badges sit on a Shopify product page?

Most stores place them under the price or under Add to cart. That is where shoppers look for payment, shipping and guarantee cues.

Can I show shipping, returns and secure checkout text with icons?

Yes. Pair short lines with icons in the theme editor. Keep claims accurate so they match your policies.

Do trust badges work on cart and product templates?

Yes. Add the block wherever the theme accepts blocks on those templates. Test both mobile and desktop.

Should I show payment icons I do not actually offer?

No. Showing Visa, UPI or PayPal when checkout cannot take them hurts trust. Enable only real methods.

Is this a replacement for a Shopify trust badge app?

For icons and short copy on PDP or cart, yes. Skip apps that inject extra scripts if you only need this row.

Can I upload custom trust badge images?

Yes, where the schema allows image pickers. Use small compressed assets so the product page stays fast.

What is a Shopify section compared with a Shopify app?

A Shopify section (or block) is Liquid and schema that live in your theme. You add it in the theme editor. A Shopify app is a separate install that often injects scripts and charges a monthly fee. Trust badges and payment icons is theme files you own after purchase, not a recurring app.

Will Trust badges and payment icons work with Dawn and other Online Store 2.0 themes?

Yes, if the theme supports Online Store 2.0 sections and blocks. Dawn, Craft, Sense, Refresh and most current Shopify themes do. You add the block in the theme editor on the template you want.

Does it work on vintage Shopify themes?

No. Vintage themes do not use the current section and block model the same way. Upgrade to an Online Store 2.0 theme, or ask us for a custom build if you must stay on vintage.

How do I install a Shopify section file I bought?

After we email the files, add the Liquid file in Shopify Admin under Online Store, Themes, Edit code, or push it with Shopify CLI. Then open Customize and insert the block on the template. Install notes are included. Paid install help is separate.

Can developers install this with Shopify CLI and Git?

Yes. Treat it like any theme file. Commit the Liquid to your theme repository, pull it on the development store, then publish through your usual review path. The package is source files, not a locked app embed.

Is this a Theme App Extension or Liquid I own?

You receive Liquid and schema for your theme. It is not a Theme App Extension and not an app embed you lose if a subscription ends. The files stay in the theme you installed them on.

Will this Shopify block slow my store or hurt PageSpeed?

It is theme code only. There is no extra app script injected storewide. Speed still depends on your images, apps and theme. Compared with stacking another app, a native block is the lighter pattern.

Do I need Shopify Plus to use Trust badges and payment icons?

No. It runs on Online Store 2.0 themes on Basic, Shopify, Advanced and Plus, as long as you can edit the theme and use the theme editor.

Can Shopify agencies buy this for a client store?

Yes. The license is for one live Shopify store. Buy once per client store where the files will run. Do not copy the same purchase onto many live stores.

Can I resell or white-label these Shopify section files?

You may install them on the licensed store, including work you deliver as an agency. You may not resell the files, list them as your own product, or share them with another merchant who did not buy a license.

How many Shopify stores is the license for?

One live Shopify store per purchase, plus the usual unpublished or development copies used to build that same store. Extra live stores need another purchase.

Can my developer edit the Liquid after purchase?

Yes. You own the files on the licensed store. A developer can change markup, CSS and schema. Theme updates from the Theme Store can overwrite custom files if you replace the theme, so keep a copy or use Git.

What is the difference between a Shopify section and a Shopify block?

A section is a full row you add to a template. A block sits inside a section, often on the product page next to price or Add to cart. Trust badges and payment icons is a block.

Does it work with Shopify Translate and Adapt and Shopify Markets?

Theme-editor text can be translated with Translate and Adapt like other theme content. Markets, currencies and languages still follow your Shopify setup. The block does not replace Markets configuration.

Will it work on Hydrogen or a headless Shopify storefront?

No. These files are Liquid for Online Store 2.0. Hydrogen and other headless storefronts need a custom implementation. Ask us if you want that built separately.

Does it work in Shopify checkout or Shop Pay?

No. Checkout and Shop Pay are not theme section areas. This block is for storefront templates such as home, collection, product, page or blog, depending on the product.

Is Trust badges and payment icons compatible with cart drawers and product page apps?

It uses the theme editor and standard theme CSS. Most cart drawers still work. A heavy page-builder app or a product-page app that replaces the template can hide theme blocks. Test on a duplicate theme first.

Does a Shopify theme update delete the section?

Updating or replacing a theme from the Theme Store can overwrite custom files. Duplicate the published theme before you install, keep the emailed files, and prefer Git if your team already versions the theme.

What files do I receive after I pay Rs.449/-?

Liquid for the block, theme-editor schema, and install notes for the code editor or Shopify CLI. Delivery is by email, not an instant download.

When do I receive the files?

After successful payment, our team emails the files only to the registered email you enter at checkout. Delivery is Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM IST, except holidays. There is no instant automated download.

Can you send the files to another email?

No. Digital files go only to the registered checkout email. If the message is missing, we can resend to that same email after we match your order. We do not share files with a second inbox.

Can I get a refund?

You can cancel before we email the files and receive a refund of the amount paid. After we send the files to your registered email, the purchase is not refundable. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Is installation included in Rs.449/-?

No. The package includes install notes for self-setup. Paid install help can be requested separately after purchase.

How do I pay? Do you use Razorpay?

Yes. Checkout is in INR through Razorpay. Enter name, email and WhatsApp, then complete payment. Use the same email you want the files sent to.

Can I test Trust badges and payment icons on a Shopify development store first?

Yes. Install on an unpublished or development copy of the licensed store, then publish when you are ready. The license still covers one live store.

Do I need metafields or a custom app to use this?

No for the standard setup. Settings live in the theme editor. Metafields are optional later if you want per-product content beyond the editor fields.

Is it mobile responsive and usable on phones?

Yes. The block is built for storefront templates that shoppers open on phones and desktops. Always preview your theme in the editor before you publish.

Does this add extra tracking pixels or GDPR scripts?

No extra marketing pixels ship with the files. You stay on Shopify theme code. Cookie banners and analytics you already run are unchanged.

What if a ready section is not enough for my store?

Ask for a custom Shopify section or a larger theme build. Ready files are for a known pattern. Unusual logic, apps or headless work is quoted separately.
